People use search engines to find what best matches their mood. They eventually end up getting lost in millions of search results. They should better go to moon instead of trying to locate exactly what they needed.
Knowing the problem of search engines, there came the suggest-engine. Like stumble upon. SU suggests the content based on user ratings. It works fine. But it can’t deliver me an amusing video in a single click when I am in a bad mood. It can’t tell my friends what I am up to. And if it can, it’s not efficient.
Then comes the social networking sites that tell you what your friends are doing, they show you their activities and the stuff your friends find interesting. It’s like a TV with which you can interact. Sometimes you’d find an amusing video in 5 minutes when you are feeling bad. Some other times, it may take you an hour.
So we decided to fetch the cool things of search engines, social networking and content suggesting services. We then went to our kitchen, blended them all in a grinder and filtered. The result was the ‘mood engine’. That’s what we call gidmid!
Gidmid collects suggestions of people like stumble upon does and a sophisticated algorithm decides what to serve when you are in a bad mood. It would never let you get lost in a million search results. Neither you’ll have to go through a lot of suggested stuff. It’s simple, it’d intelligently decide what you need and serve you one and only one result that will bet to make your mood. Obviously you can browse more but one at a time, no mess! Once you have made your mood, you tell your friends about that. People comment, rate and share your mood and interact with you.
